Making mulled apple cider is one of my favorite Fall traditions. A warm steaming cup of apple cider is always my companion while taking the kids out trick or treating on a chilly Wisconsin evening. It’s quick, it’s easy and it’s oh so delicious. Here is the recipe. I hope you try it and enjoy!
Mulled Apple Cider
2 quarts of apple cider
2 cinnamon sticks
2 whole cloves
2 whole all spice berries
1 orange thinly sliced
Place all the ingredients in a large saucepan and simmer on a low to medium heat for 10 minutes. Divide the cider among 8 mugs. Garish with orange slices, apple slices and cinnamon sticks.
If you need a little more warmth, add rum. Mix 1 cup of dark rum into the pot will simmering.
Drink up and Enjoy!
I Definitely have to try this recipe 🙂
