When I started my blog one of my goals was to share my love for what I do, DESIGN! Every month I design a desktop, tablet and mobile calendar to share with my readers. It’s a little something to dress up your space and help stay organized for the holidays. I’m in love with botanical illustrations right now and thought this style had a wonderful vintage touch. I love incorporating vintage items into my Christmas decorating. Thank you for all of your support and I hope you all enjoy December’s calendar!

Christmas is inching its way closer and it’s almost time to start decorating (if you haven’t started already!). There are so many ways to decorate for the holidays with so many color palettes to choose from. I usually gravitate to the traditional red and green, but I found so many cute collections this year that put a twist on traditional.
Check out these wonderful palettes and try something new!
Here is a subtle and elegant palette with items from Crate and Barrel. Make your house into a winter wonderland that can stay up well after Christmas is over!
Go gold and glam! West Elm has a great selection of gold holiday décor this year. It’s very sophisticated and modern. Another look that can stay up well past New Year’s.
Muted mistletoe is almost traditional but just a little less saturated. This palette works well with natural elements such as pinecones and evergreen. This collection of Christmas items is from Target. I’m such a sucker for plaid and holly!
Traditional kicked up a notch. This intense color palette works great with patterns such as plaids, polka dots and stripes. Pier 1 has a fantastic selection of whimsical and minty Christmas decorations this year. It’s refreshing and fun!
Whatever color palette you decide to use this Christmas season, have fun with it and make it your own — that’s what it’s all about! 🙂
