It’s Maker’s Monday! I hope you have enjoyed the blog series so far. It has been an amazing journey, meeting wonderful makers, sharing their passion and craft and highlighting their small businesses. I’ll be taking a holiday break from the series and will be picking back up after the New Year. Next week Monday is the launch of House Fenway’s 2nd Annual Holiday Small Maker’s Gift Guide. A guide highlighting 60+ makers, offering tons of promotions, and gift ideas for the holidays. I hope you check it out!
Meet Wildflower Parade
This week’s maker is a busy lady with a wonderful talent. Meet Alicia from Wildflower Parade , a SAHM of four amazing kiddos with a knack for sewing. Alicia started the business with the motivation of reducing the use of “throw-away items” such as napkins, paper towel and grocery bags. This motivation was not only a step to become more eco-friendly but a smarter way to save money on dispensable products.
Wildflower Parade offers an array of products and styles to help you become more eco-friendly without compromising style! Check out Alicia’s Etsy shop for the full selection of product: Wildflower Parade

It’s Maker’s Monday time, my favorite day of the week! Monday’s on House Fenway I get the oppurtunity to share another maker’s wonderful shop, amazing talent and product. As the weeks go on I have come to the realization of how important it is to shop small, support local and help empower others to do the same. Buying from a small business helps support someone else’s dream. The product you receive is unique. Your purchase has been created with such incredible thought and passion —something you rarely if ever receive from a “Big Box” store purchase. So with that thought (as I jump down from my soap box), I want to introduce to you this week’s amazing maker, Dandelion Wishes Candle Co.
Meet Dandelion Wishes Candle Co.
When Fall arrives it’s candle burning season in our house! Who doesn’t like the smell of fresh baked Coffee Crumb Cake or Hot Apple Cider in the house? (even better, without having to turn on the oven, dirty the kitchen or wash a dish!) Candles for Dandelion Wishes do just that — make your house smell amazing. Their small batch candles and wax melts are 100% soy-based, which means they burn clean and contain no toxins or pollutants. These hand-poured candles and melts are offered in a wide range scents, here are some of the my seasonal favorites…
Special Offer from Dandelion Wishes Candle Co.
Want to try a candle (or 10) from Dandelion Wishes Candle Co.? Tonight only (10/15/18) from 6-9 pm PDT they are having a flash sale. 15% off your order…NO CODE NEEDED!

It’s Monday! The day of the week I usually hate, but not now, with the start of House Fenway’s Maker’s Monday. I have something to look forward to at the start of every week. Each Monday is “Maker’s Monday”. I feature a small business and/or artist, their wares and a little bit about them.
Since starting House Fenway 2 years ago, it has always been a fun experience meeting other makers and enjoying their creations. The time and talent that goes into each products made by a small business or artist far out ways anything you could purchase from a big box retailer. This week’s maker is no exception.
This Week’s Feature:
Hettie is the owner of Gam Gamz Handcrafted and is a master seamstress. Decorative pillow covers to infinity scarves, this girl definitely knows how to sew! Gam Gamz Handcrafted carries a wide range of fabric styles to match just about any decor and is always sourcing new prints to keep up with current trends. Hettie’s speciality, pillow covers, are the perfect inexpensive way to transform a room within minutes. And who doesn’t love that?
I have several of Gam Gamz Handcrafted pillow covers throughout my house, but my new buffalo-check cover is by far my favorite. It’s neutral without just being boring “Plain Jane” and can easily be incorporated with seasonal decor from Halloween to Christmas.
From now until Sunday September 30, 2018 use exclusive promo code MAKER18 and receive 15% off your purchase at Gam Gamz Handcrafted.

Hey there friends! I thought I would pop in and share another one of my small maker Friday Favorites. So maybe farmhouse style a la Joanna Gaines is not your thing, maybe you’re more mod and dig BOHO or maybe you like to mix your styles up a bit and do it all ( I do!) Wick + Fiber’s woven wall hangings are so versatile, you can do just that, mix and match. These hand-woven creations definitely fit the popular BOHO trend, but look great incorporated with a blend of styles. Why not be eclectic? Life’s too short not to be!
Wick + Fiber is owned by Caroline, a hard-working stay at home mom of 7. Her business is based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Along with hand-woven wall hangings, Caroline creates hand-woven buntings and a selection of handmade soy candles.
I incorporated one of Wick + Fiber’s wall hangings into a grouping along my bedroom wall. Pairing the hanging with a vintage globe from Goodwill (for $5!) and an arrow board sign from Hobby Lobby, creating a whimsical wanderlust theme.

Happy Friday guys! We’ve made it through another week. *happy dance* I swear, I don’t live for the weekends, but when the week is long and the weather is gloomy – the weekend is so welcomed by this girl! For those of you that have been around for a while now you probably know on Friday’s I like to share my favorite makers, artist and crafters. Supporting small businesses, hard working mamas (and daddies) and the creative spirit is so very near and dear to my heart. This week is no exception!
Since starting House Fenway a little over a year ago, I’ve made lots of new friends. Mostly other artists, that own their own businesses, Etsy shops and websites. Sami from ForEveritts Home is one of them. This girl is one of the handiest woman I know! Saws, drills, splinters and all – this girl gets right in there! Her reclaimed artwork showcases not only her power tool skills but the true beauty in repurposed materials. Each piece unique, Sami mixes a vast array of natural elements including reclaimed wood, moss, and florals to achieve these beautiful pieces of art. Each season she launches a new collection highlighting the colors and textures shown currently evolving in nature.
I feel honored to own one of ForEveritts Home’s pieces and I think it adds the perfect touch of Fall to my home. The juxtaposition of textures – the harness of the reclaimed wood against the softness of the moss and florals is so artfully displayed.
Sami has just launched her own website this month which includes a shop, blog and a beautiful inspirational board full of her creations. She is definitely worth checking out, following and why I chose her as my Friday favorite! Shop ForEveritts Home now >
